Granada, Nicaragua

I believe that it has been 8 days since I have embarked on my adventure. Today we arrived in Granada which is 3 hours away from Leon, Nicaragua.

We are staying in the middle of town. The area that we are in has a bunch of bars and restaurants geared toward foreigners. I must admit that I ordered a hamburger at a local sports bar showing American baseball (Dodgers).

Since we had a long day yesterday volcano boarding and taking a tour of a mangrove by boat, the group is feeling pretty tired today. I am looking forward to going out to dinner tonight to an Asian fusion restaurant and to hanging out at a local bar afterwards.

It´s nice to have the chance to be in a city for more than a day. The only sad part about today is that we had to say goodbye to Marcos, our van driver. Now we are going to embark on the rest of our journey via chicken bus. I am looking forward to seeing and experiencing what the locals go through when they need to travel.

Well, I am exhausted and will try to write again later tomorrow since we have internet in our hotel.
